David Beckham's son Brooklyn, 15, was an unused substitute for Arsenal Under-18s on Saturday for their 1-0 win over Leicester City, in which he was handed Thierry Henry's No 14 shirt.

Brooklyn is progressing through the ranks at Arsenal, and last week posted this Instagram clip of him hitting the bar with an exquisitely struck volley in an Under-16 Gunners' fixture, showing a similar technique to that of his famous father.

For Saturday's game, Brooklyn was in good company in the squad - he sat alongside Ashley Maitland-Niles on the bench while Gedion Zelalem also played in the match. Both of these players have been picked by Arsene Wenger in the Arsenal first-team this season.

David Beckham had trained with Arsenal in the past

David Beckham, of course, made 115 appearances for England, more than any other outfield player. He trained with the Gunners in three different spells during the off-season when he was playing in America, in 2008, 2010, and 2013.
