Bournemouth all but guaranteed their place in the Premier League last night thanks to a 3-0 victory over Bolton.

Barring a defeat on the final day and a 19 goal swing, the Cherries will be playing in the top flight for the first time in their history.

The achievement is all the more remarkable considering the dire straights that the club was in not that long ago, with the south coast side in administration and moments from liquidation.

So understandably everyone as the Goldsands Stadium was rather excited last night.

Along with the standard chants of 'We're going up' as supporters grew more confident of collecting three points against Bolton, they also began to sing the Match of the Day theme tune.

When the full-time whistle confirmed the result, fans charged onto the pitch to celebrate.

But perhaps the best celebration of the night came from chairman Jeff Mostyn as he joined the players in the changing room afterwards (video contains swearing).

Bournemouth play Charlton on the final day of the season with Middlesbrough, three points behind, at home to Brighton. The Cherries have a goal difference 19 better than Boro.
