Barcelona striker Luis Suarez scored two brilliant goals at the Parc des Princes to put his club into a commanding Champions League quarter-final lead against Paris Saint-Germain.

The £75million striker not only scored a pair of excellent goals in the 3-1 Barcelona win in France, but he made David Luiz look like a fool... TWICE.

For the first goal, Suarez picked the ball up on the right, slotted the ball between Luiz's legs before driving into the box, showed great strength to shrug off Maxwell before turning the ball past Salvatore Sirigu.

Then, 10 minutes later, the striker played an excellent one-two with Javier Mascherano and got to the ball a split second before the floppy-haired Brazilian made a powder-puff challenge - and saw the ball poked through his legs again.

Suarez raced through on goal and curled the ball into the far corner to put Barcelona 3-0 up.

Jeremy Mathieu later deflected a Gregory van der Wiel shot into his own net to give PSG a small lifeline in the tie, but Barcelona were the better side throughout.

Speaking after the game, Suarez told French TV channel Canal+ that he "had to" nutmeg the £50m former Chelsea centre-back.

"In football you never know what will happen," he said. "PSG have a lot of quality and we can't think the tie is over. It is going to be a beautiful second leg.

"A striker always has to be looking to score goals, so it's nice to score two.

"I had to do the nutmegs because it was the only option available to me.

"That the first goal arrived from the right is a sign that we [Lionel Messi, Neymar and Suarez] can alternate positions and play anywhere across the front three."
