We all have our favourites – the track that comes on at 1am at a house party, where, just when you thought you were done, you find yourself back on your feet and singing along at the top of your voice (sorry neighbours).

One-Hit Wonder Day takes place next week on 25 September, celebrating every artist who has given us that one, glorious track before disappearing back into obscurity.

So ahead of this important annual event, 1,200 people were surveyed by Best Offers Bingo to find some of the nation’s favourite one-off tracks.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, The Rembrandts' earworm "I’ll Be There For You" came out on top, perhaps thanks to the fact that it served as the intro for Friends for more than a decade.

Deep Blue Something's "Breakfast at Tiffany's" followed close behind, along with Charles and Eddie’s cheesy track "Would I Lie To You?" and Chumbawamba's "Tubthumping". 4 Non Blondes' "What’s Up?" rounded off the top five.

Here’s the list in full:

  1. The Rembrandts - I’ll Be There For You
