French police assist a woman after a shooting in the street of Montrouge

A mass search is still underway for those suspected to be responsible for the attack on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, which left 12 people dead focusing on villages to the north-east of Paris

The two key suspects thought to be the Charlie Hebdo gunmen are reported to have been located in northern France on the RN2 in a grey Renault Clio with covered number plates
The suspects were named as Chérif Kouachi, 32, and his brother Said, 34
A large police presence has been noticed in Crépy-en-Valois, in Oise. Operations are underway. The manhunt is also taking place in other small villages around north east Paris such as Longpont and Corcy, in Picardie
Nine individuals have so far been detained as part of the investigation
Thousands rallied at the Place de Republique in Paris and the lights of the Eiffel tower were dimmed to honour those killed
This morning a policewoman died after a new shooting took place in southern Paris, in an unrelated incident, according to the interior minister
A lawyer of Charlie Hebdo has told Le Monde that a million copies of next week's issue will be circulated on Wednesday. The magazine's typical circulation is around 45,000, with a print run of around 60,000
