Chelsea defender Gary Cahill doesn't believe Liverpool should have had a late penalty when he appeared to handle the ball blocking a shot at Anfield.
The England defender, who had earlier deflected Emre Can's shot beyond Thibaut Courtois before equalising in Saturday's 2-1 win , looked to have conceded what Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers called a "clear penalty" when he blocked Steven Gerrard's shot, but referee Anthony Taylor waved away the appeal.
"I felt I just made a block, my arms were down," Cahill said on the club's website . "There were shots raining in on goal and I needed to make a block, fortunately it didn’t go in the net."
The win saw Jose Mourinho's team extend their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 11 games, and remain four points in front of second place Southampton. Chelsea are now eight points clear of Manchester City and 12 in front of Arsenal.

Cahill added: "It was massively important for us to keep our run going. We had some tough moments in the game and I felt we dug in and defended well as a team.
"We know we can hurt teams and we created a few chances. It’s a very hard place to go and get any type of result so we’re delighted with the win.
"I went out to make the block (for their goal) and unfortunately sometimes that happens. After that you almost feel like you owe the team so I was delighted to level things up.
"It’s my first goal of the season so I think I need to add that to my game. From the angle I was at I thought it had gone in but at first I didn’t think the referee had given it, I’m just delighted to be off the mark."
Chelsea next play on 22 November, after the international break, at home to West Brom.
