Video: Watch Erik Lamela score 'rabona' wonder goal in Europa League

The Argentinian scored against Asteras Tripolis

Tottenham won 5-1 last night, and Harry Kane scored a hat-trick, but both of those facts have been completely overshadowed by one moment of brilliance.

Stand up Erik Lamela.

Tottenham's club-record signing from last summer didn't make much of an impression in his first season, but has started to show why he was brought to White Hart Lane for £30m from Roma with some eye catching performances this term.

Yet his goal after 29 minutes in the Europa League tie with Asteras Tripolis last night was almost worth his price-tag alone.

The Argentinian scored a 'rabona' goal from outside the box, a shot where one foot wraps around the outside of another to produce a curling shot. Few try it, and even less see it fly into the top corner.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino even said it was perhaps the best he had ever seen.

"One time I scored one goal like that myself," Pochettino said, laughing. "You will find it on YouTube.

"No, it was a very big goal, a great goal, an unbelievable goal. I am happy for him and it helped us to get the three points.

"Maybe it is the best [by one of my players ever]. Probably."

Is it one of the best you've ever seen? Watch it below...

Lamela added another goal in the second half whilst Kane picked up three in the win at White Hart Lane.
