The best Ann Coulter jokes from Rob Lowe's roast have been rounded up

'Ann Coulter - if you're here, who's scaring the crows away from our crops?'

Actor Rob Lowe may have been the intended target of the latest edition of Comedy Central's Roast, but the show made somewhat of a mistake (or an ingenious move) in inviting conservative political commentator and columnist, Ann Coulter.

Originally invited as one of Lowe's roasters, each of her fellow guests (host David Spade, Nikki Glaser, Jeff Ross, Jewel, Peyton Manning etc.) had a pretty hard time resisting the temptation to whip out some of their harshest and most vicious material especially for Coulter; leading her to dub it the "Ann Coulter roast with Rob Lowe".

A glorious show of schadenfreude and revenge, New York Magazine decided to collect together some of the evening's most cutting insults into one convenient clip; avoiding the need to watch Coulter's own attempts to roast Lowe, or her opportunistic stab at promoting her new book, In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!

"Ann Coulter has written 11 books — 12 if you count Mein Kampf," comedian Nikki Glaser helpfully offered; comedian Jimmy Carr adding, "It’s not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself." Indeed, unlike the show's usual tradition of intermixing affection with its flurry of insults, there was certainly no love lost amongst the evening's comedians and celebrities when it came to Coulter herself.

Lowe himself later added, "You know, Ann, after seeing your set tonight. I think we’ve all witnessed the first bombing that you can’t blame on a Muslim."
