Police in Kent are investigating an alleged rape at a naturist club.

A woman is said to have been subjected to a "sustained assault" by up to five men in a caravan at the Eureka Sun Club in Fawkham.

Detectives believe the victim had been talking to a group of men at the club before returning to her caravan at about 2.30am on Saturday, 17 June.

"Between four to five men are reported to have then entered the caravan and subjected her to a sustained assault. The suspects are reported to have also stolen two mobile phones belonging to the victim," Kent Police said.

The force added: "Detectives are continuing work to establish the circumstances of the incident, and no arrests have yet been made.

"They are particularly keen to speak to a man who is not being linked to the incident, but is believed to have spent some time socialising with the victim in the hours before it took place."

Anyone with information should call call 01622 604100, quoting reference YY/016153/17, Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Eureka is a private members club where guests can go clothed or nude.

The over-18s club bans photography and does not allow phones at its social events.
